sorry for replying late!
you may have to look for network settings. many mates got it right there. i mean if you cant access network. else you will need to flash back using debug only option.

I am at the step 6. When I click the start button it keep says "Check image files" what should I do? I am not sure if I have done the step 5 correctly so could you clarify the step 5 in detail too? Thank you.

hi Faizan,
i have upgraded to eclair, but now the new issue is i couldn't connect to my computer. it is caused by the USB port can't recognised my device. i'm using windows 7.
I'm using KIES app. what am i supposed to do now?..any idea?

what is the firmware which you have downloaded for you upgrade? n is it a one package or includes many zip files?

hi!
try reinstalling kies! else use drivers from any tethering application like pdanet. that should work

7: The process will finish in about 2 to 3 minutes but the clock on ODIN keeps ticking. So better watch for the message "close serial port and wait until rebooting". This is the instant when your mobile's upgrade is over and the phone will reboot.

I misunderstood the step 5 and I checked the one package box. Now I am stuck in the step 7. I waited more than 20 min. and it still shows "<1> setup connection..." at the bottom of the message box and does not shows the message "close serial port and wait until rebooing"
Please help me

means problem in usb connectivity! you need to reinstall usb drivers
